Great location clean and well maintained. some of the remotes didn't work and no replacement batteries but had something for everyone. Thank you for everything you did for my family for this weekend.
Location and accommodations were good. Has problems with the TVs as to remotes not working properly, Otherwise good. My wife had trouble with the stairs.
Beautiful home, beautiful views, well maintained. The only issue is home was difficult to find as there was no house number at the bottom of the driveway. We realized after driving to the wrong house we needed to turn around and take a chance in driving up the driveway of this home to realize we found it. If entering at night even more difficult.
Also, check in time is fairly late (4:00pm) and the check out time a bit too early (10am) Which takes away from your time spent. Check out should be until at least 11am.
The fireplace and the grill are absolutely amazing. Fred's house is clean and comfortable. It will be my first choice for the next time in Killington.
We accidentally left our baby monitor ziptied to a curtain rod that would need scissors to be taken down at bridgewater country cottage in VT. I completely understand it’s my fault for forgetting it, but I am very disappointed that “it was not there” when the management company went that week. Management was also very unresponsive and took 2 weeks to tell me they couldn’t “find” the monitor and that was only after me calling several times to check in. After saying they would call me back and not doing so, I had to call Home Away to explain my situation. Somewhere along the line someone is being dishonest (cleaning crew/management.) We have stayed here many years in a row and although there have been some updates such as a new refrigerator and bed, we all felt it was much dirtier than previous years. We will not be staying again. If you do stay, be sure to leave nothing behind as you most likely will not get it back and you will get poor customer service when you do try to get your items back.
