Not much of a place, food is microwaved. Chef had his apron on when he came out of the bathroom. So that was enough for me to say last time.
If you like great food, nice comfortable ambiance and excellent service, this is a destination stop.
Surprisingly good food. Prices seemed a little high, but the food is worth it. You must try the pierogies.
Good there near closing time. Owner kinda had a fit about the kitchen closing soon. They were understaffed as there was a race in town. Ordered the baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone tender and the sauce was awesome but I don't think they were anywhere near the smoker as they had zero smoke flavor. Kinda like they were in a slow cooker all day.
Home made soups are simply the best.
This place looked like a hole in the wall from the outside, but after a long day of hiking with my dad, we were looking for the closest place to have a sit-down meal. When we walked inside we saw that this place was a hidden treasure, and there were all kinds of unique antiques and old treasures that were put together in a charming way. The oldies music was also a perfect addition to the atmosphere. We were caught off guard by the menu, which was much pricier than we had anticipated based on appearances, but it all sounded so appetizing. When we got our food, it was worth every penny! The staff were also great! Definitely a place I'd visit again... but more for a special occasion.
The food is delicious and the portions are plentiful, Gerry, the owner is always about helping out and her quick wit is a treat.
